Our rates are based on each individual home and its needs; the rate will be the same each time we come. We're here to make your life a little easier. We generally clean in teams of 2. Larger homes may have 3 cleaners, and cleans under 3 hours may have a single cleaner. A Clean Slate strives to hire hard-working, responsible, and personable team members. It’s in everyone’s best interests to have the same cleaners in the same homes as much as possible.
No, in fact most clients are not. One of the best parts of having a maid service is coming home to a fresh and clean house. Clients have: provided keys, garage codes, left the door unlocked or greeted us before running errands. Whatever you are comfortable with is just fine.
Yes! On your first cleaning, one of the owners will be part of the team to train on the routine for your home. This routine is typed into our scheduling program so cleaners receive detailed work orders for every home they clean, every single time. The team is trained to follow these routines every time, so we stay consistent and nothing gets missed. If your regular cleaner is sick or on vacation, any team member assigned to a home will automatically receive the detailed work order.
Most customers leave a check or cash each time we are there. Some pay for the month in advance. We also accept credit cards, and our credit card system utilizes Stripe.

Most of our dusting uses Pinesol which is safe for pets and also disinfects while it cleans.
